Through the lens of culture, the Indigenous Cultural Educator will support all children/youth who live in Boyle Street Community Services’ Community Group Living Program home(s), laying a foundation that supports their academic and personal growth. By integrating cultural teachings, the Educator will enhance the capacity of children/youth to engage in schoolwork and homework effectively. This role also includes providing personalized support aligned with each child and youth’s individual learning abilities and goals, adapting instructional methods to meet their unique needs. Additionally, the Indigenous Educator will be responsible for maintaining detailed notes and progress reports that document each child/youth’s cultural growth, academic progress, and home-based learning aligned with the school curriculum.
