Max Mollineaux is a Director and Senior Consultant with WMC. His strengths are partnering with organizations in executive search, leadership coaching and human resource consulting.

Max brings over 20 years of combined experience in executive search, leadership coaching and human resources. He consults within Indigenous, real estate development, technology, healthcare, private and non-profit sectors. Max is customer-focused and views limitations as challenges to be overcome. His down-to-earth approach enables him to build productive and lasting relationships across diverse populations.

Max has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching through Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC and a BA (Honours) in Human Resources Management, with a minor in French from De Montfort University, Leicester, England. In addition, he is a certified Myers Briggs Practitioner Level I & II and an approved Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Trainer.

Executive Search

Max specializes in leading recruitment engagements for leadership, human resources, and senior technical roles. Max has completed hundreds of searches across Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia.

As an executive search practitioner, Max has a strong network, is highly resourceful, and is driven to find talented individuals for his clients. Max brings extensive experience recruiting from within organizations and seeing the results of his hires. He knows what it takes to select and position candidates for success with a new employer over the longer term. Ensuring a comprehensive 'fit' for both clients and candidates is key to a successful search engagement.

Max utilizes psychometric assessments to provide complimentary and objective data to inform the hiring decisions of clients.

As a Coach, Max utilizes his coaching skills to assess leadership behaviours and support new hires after placement. His approach ensures that the right person is hired the first time and results in faster times for candidates to reach productivity, as well as excellent retention rates for clients.

Max provides a full-service search practice that includes job design and documentation, advising on interview techniques and legal issues and facilitating selection committees.

Leadership DEVELOPMENT, Assessment & Coaching

Max works with leaders who want to reach their full potential. Results of his coaching include an increase in leadership effectiveness, greater self-regulation, resiliency, increase in motivation and fulfillment. Max uses a combination of tools and assessments to support his clients and to support them in mental fitness.

  • Positive Intelligence (PQ): The Positive Intelligence (PQ) framework was created by Shirzad Chahine to build mental fitness. Mental fitness is a way to build our capacity to respond to life's challenges with a positive rather than negative mindset. Through this program, clients are helped to truly understand the neuroscience of Mental Fitness and discover what happens as they apply Mental Fitness to multiple aspects of their life.

  • 360 Reviews: Max provides both customized online 360 reviews and narrative 360 reviews for clients. 360 reviews are a powerful tool for gaining feedback on a leader to support their development. Rich, real-time contextual feedback helps the leader and their coach to focus on those behaviours and competencies most critical to performance in the leader's role in the organization.

Human Resources

Max enables organizations to attract, utilize and retain their most valuable asset, their people. Max provides strategic and operational advice to clients and develops human resources programs that add value to their organization. Clients benefit from accessing a senior HR leader who can advise on human resource challenges on an as-required basis.
